Grand Designs Live is the biggest contemporary home show in the UK. It always provides plenty of inspiration and advice for people looking to renovate or redecorate their homes. Yet again, Doors&Windows exhibited in a Grand Build Section and attracted lots of attention with a carefully designed stand. This year we decided to strongly focus on aluminium and timber products.
We specialise in high quality softwood, hardwood and revolutionary Accoya wood units. This year we presented to the Grand Designs’ visitors a beautiful 2 metres high real oak sliding sash window operated by a mechanism of cords and pulleys counterbalanced by weights. It was a superior example of traditional style and quality. Our timber sliding sash windows offer a classic appearance, great thermal performance and high standard finish protecting the windows from weather conditions. We also had a timber casement window and truly eye-catching French doors in cream finish. Wide range of available colours and finishes allows our customers to match the style of their property and to create a cosy and welcoming look.
Similar to timber, aluminium products also come in RAL colours in matt or glossy finish. Especially for the Grand Designs exhibition we launched an entirely new aluminium structure finish called Coatex. We presented a smart and stylish black 3-panel bi-folding door in black Coatex finish. It is a maintenance friendly structure lacquer up to 65% more durable and resistant to scratch. There are 14 Coatex colours available from creamy white, red, dark green, shades of grey and even sparkling silver tones.
But our stand’s real cherry on top was 2-panel aluminium patio sliding door also in black Coatex finish with motorised lift and slide system. It could prove to be a great solution for all customers looking to add a modern and sleek touch to their interior and enjoying the newest technology. Door like that can be easily operated by a small remote control or even by a smartphone app. It moves smoothly and is equipped with a motion sensor what means that if any form of obstruction (e.g. a child or a pet) appears in front of it while moving, it will automatically stop. The door we had on display was impressive 3 metres high and almost 5 metres wide. It was truly a grand design!
Our Team did their best to provide comprehensive information to all our visitors and advise everyone when it comes to their individual requirements in regards to replacement of existing units, new builds, residential or commercial projects. We experienced a high volume of visitors, who were very impressed with amazing, eye-catching products, high quality finish, great attention to details and relaxed, non-pressure approach of our professional advisors. To all visitors – thank you for visiting our stand and we hope you enjoyed the Grand Designs show as much as we did.
