Window, Door and Conservatory Surveyor
At Doors&Windows we are now seeking a dedicated double glazing surveyor to join our team.
As a Window, Door and Conservatory Surveyor, you will be responsible for accurately surveying and recording the requirements of customers’ orders and resolving any ensuing customer problems. Occasionally you will also manage the installation process – from delivery through to the quality fitment.
Taking accurate measurements and promptly processing the surveys, including site surveys, you will investigate differences between contracts and customer expectations. You will assess the duration of an installation, review the suitability of the products, agreeing the design options and necessary site arrangements prior to the installation.
Acting as the point of contact for customers, you will visit the installation site to confirm that customers are satisfied and monitor the quality of the installation.
Your other duties will include:
– Supporting Managers in the day-to-day management of the department
– Resolving problems effectively by gaining co-operation and commitment from available resources
– Producing instructions to production control and to installers
To be considered for the role you must have:
– Windows, doors and conservatory surveying experience
– Strong knowledge of the double glazing industry, particularly the installation process
– A thorough understanding of construction processes
– A valid UK driver’s licence
As a Windows Surveyor you must have excellent communication skills and a polite and
courteous approach. An effective problem solver, you will also have a good level of computer literacy.
Experience of installing conservatories would be beneficial to your application.

Sales Representative
Due to our continued expansion we require an experienced Window, Door & Conservatory Sales Representative to join our busy Doors&Windows Sales Team. The successful candidate will be based at our premises in Croydon/Morden.
Main responsibilities include:
– Promoting, selling and securing orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based
approach
– Demonstrating products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best
suited to their needs
– Establishing, developing and maintaining business relationships with current customers and prospective
customers to generate new business for our products/services
– Developing clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers
– Expediting the resolution of customer problems and complaints
– Coordinating sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service teams
– Identifing advantages and comparing industry’s products and services
– Planing and organizing personal sales strategy
– Supplying management with oral and written reports
– Participating in trade shows and conventions
To be considered for this role you must have:
– Proven experience within double glazing industry
– Consultative sales approach and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and Focus, Business Micros or other quotation software
– Valid UK driver’s licence

Technical Order Processor
If you have an experience as a technical order processor, or similar, in double glazing industry you have now a chance to join our Team and be a part of a vibrant and constantly growing business.
We offer a permanent, full-time position. Our team works between two shifts during the week, 7.00am to 3.00pm and 9.00am to 5.00pm. Also you would be required to work every other Saturday on a shift from 9.00am to 2.00pm
Main responsibilities include:
– Processing orders into Business Micros Evolution and Reynapro softwares
– Preparing quotations and providing customer service for trade customers
– Ordering components and dealing with our suppliers
– Supporting Sales Team
To be considered for the role you must have:
– Previous experience within double glazing industry
– Knowledge of: Business Micros Evolution, Reynapro, Winstar, Logical, AutoCAD or 3d designs softwares
– Good computer skills and proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications
– Excellent communication and customer service skills
– Team Player approach
